The preterite verb tense is used to talk about COMPLETED actions in the past. There are many irregular verbs in this form, but this page will focus on how to conjugate REGULAR verbs in the preterite.
¡Ojo!: "Pistas" are clue words that us we should use the preterite tense.
ayer = yesterday
anoche = last night
anteayer = day before yesterday
la semana pasada = last week
hace un mes = a month ago, hace dos semanas = two weeks ago
